Tell us a bit about yourself:
What are you passionate about in life, and who are you professionally?
Hi, I’m an architect and interior designer, and my name is Marianna Nardelli. I love my work because it’s always varied, constantly evolving, and therefore very stimulating. I adore travelling, whether alone or with company, it doesn’t make much of a difference to me, as I always try to fully “feel” and experience everything around me through my senses. I often find it easier to focus when I’m alone, which is why I appreciate the chance to take solo trips.
I’ve run a technical studio with my name and those of my two partners for over 20 years. Together, we handle design, project management, energy certifications, environmental sustainability, fire prevention, safety coordination during the design and execution phases, and interior design. We cover all aspects of a project, from the creative side to the execution.
What does colour mean to you, and how did you use it before discovering the RAH method?
Before discovering the RAH method, I wasn’t aware of much when it came to colour. I used colours and was drawn to them, but without real awareness. It was like living in ignorance and going in circles. I made selections empirically, without a knowledge base.
Today, for me, colour, or light, represents the essence of a project, life itself, as well as my brand and my recognizability. Clients know me for my use of colour. My projects are unique and diverse, reflecting the individuality of each client, yet my method and approach remain consistent and recognizable.

"The entire design journey begins with the RAH TEST: I don’t do anything unless I start with the individual or couple's test."
Quale valore intendi offrire ai tuoi clienti attraverso il tuo lavoro?
Through my work, I strive to share my values with my clients: truth, uniqueness, honesty, respect, nature, empathy, and the ability to "see" a problem and solve it at the same time.
Design should represent a journey for both parties, filled with time, awareness, and new insights, where haste and speed are poor advisors.
My client is someone who shares a "chapter of their life" with me and, thanks to my expertise, even in neuroscience, improves their life, even in small ways, through the transformation of their living environment.

Finally, your personal thoughts: what hopes do you have for the future of your field?
My wish for all of us is to always work with love for what we do, taking care of others as well as ourselves. I hope more and more professionals approach our world and our method (which I now feel is my own, it belongs to me) because it’s enriching not only on a technical level but also on a human one. The RAH method is profoundly empathetic.
How has the RAH method transformed your approach to design?
The RAH method has completely changed my approach to design. With this method, the client truly becomes the centre of their project, their home, their style. The architect’s role is to organize the various elements and compose them to achieve a harmonious and balanced outcome, with the client’s well-being as the primary focus.
The entire design journey begins with the RAH test, I don’t do anything without starting with either an individual or couple’s test.
