Beatrice Niccoli

Interior Designer

Tell us a bit about yourself:
What are you passionate about in life, and who are you professionally?

Hi, I’m Beatrice, and colour has always been my best friend; it’s undoubtedly been my greatest passion forever. I’m an interior designer, a RAH consultant, and I love painting. I enjoy transforming homes into real painter’s palettes, designing and studying how to use colour, obviously in what quantities, how to match it and pair it with materials, and light, but most importantly, I love colouring emotions.

What does colour mean to you, and how did you use it before discovering the RAH method?

Colour has always been a part of my life. Painting has been my passion forever, coloring and getting my hands dirty with paint are some of my favourite pastimes. Even in my projects, I’ve always worked with colour, naturally combined with design, my experiences, and my studies. I’ve always tried to make everything revolve around colour and its nuances.

"It's the starting point of every one of my projects, a 'never without' tool as I like to say."

Quale valore intendi offrire ai tuoi clienti attraverso il tuo lavoro?

I seek smiles and wonder in my clients. Smiling means being happy, and wonder makes the project unique and surprising for the client. I look for collaboration, I love designing alongside those who commission the work. I see it as a true team effort. Of course, I aim to meet all their requests and needs, always combining aesthetics with functionality.

Finally, your personal thoughts: what hopes do you have for the future of your field?

I wish for people not to be afraid to dare, to listen to their feelings and emotions, and to trust in colour, their own colours. I hope to design more and more spaces where people can truly feel comfortable and always breathe an atmosphere of happiness and serenity.

How has the RAH method transformed your approach to design?

It’s the starting point for every one of my projects, a “never without,” as I like to say. My way of designing has changed; timelines have shortened, but most importantly, starting from what the client loves and what makes them feel good is an enormous advantage for my work. However, the most beautiful thing is seeing clients get emotional when they discover their palette. As a designer, I can’t wait to start creating ideas and offering suggestions because you already know what they like and don’t like.

What value do you aim to offer your clients through your work?

I seek smiles and wonder in my clients. Smiling means being happy, and wonder makes the project unique and surprising for the client. I look for collaboration, I love designing alongside those who commission the work. I see it as a true team effort. Of course, I aim to meet all their requests and needs, always combining aesthetics with functionality.
